Samui
If you are expecting a picture perfect beach, golden sands and tropical
palm trees, then you certainly wont be disappointed by Samui. The
adventure starts when you arrive at the tiny airport and get transported
from the plane to the cluster of bamboo buildings in a brightly painted
tram.
However, despite this, in recent years the infra structure of Samui has
substantially improved making it suitable for family holidays. Those who
dont want to bring every single "essential" along - will now find that
there are stores selling all the baby basics (after all 2 weeks diapers
take up a lot of space in the suitcase) so you dont have to carry
everything along. And, whilst we might think it is wonderful to eat
seafood every night, little ones who dont can now be bribed with the
occasional "happy meal".

Dont forget, if your kids are not wild on
Thai food then, the we can make up picnic boxes for you to take with you
on your travels with things in which you can be sure that theyll
eat.
Child Friendly Accommodation
The shallow water of the lagoon onto which the
Amari Palm Reef Resort
faces is perfect for small children as it is shallow and there
are none of the strong currents experienced at other places along the
beach.
If you have one or two small children then we strongly recommend
staying in one of the Mezanine
bungalows These have a
double bed down stairs and then an upper floor with two single
beds. |
